Privacy Policy

Last updated: 8 November 2026

Your privacy, in plain English

There's no FlipLife account and we don't collect your personal data on our own servers. Your game data stays on your phone. The free game shows ads from Google AdMob, and to show them Google collects some data from your device (see section 4). Anyone who buys Endless Mode sees no ads. If you use Play Games or buy Endless Mode, Google handles those services.

1. Who we are

FlipLife is a free Android mobile game published on Google Play by Sustainable Compute Network, an independent solo developer based in the United Kingdom.

We are the data controller for any personal data we handle. Contact us at unicredmac@gmail.com.

2. Information stored on your device

FlipLife stores your game saves, settings, and a small event log for troubleshooting on your phone. These are never sent to us. They are deleted when you uninstall the app or clear its data.

There is no FlipLife account, so we never ask for your email address, name or password.

If you tap share on a run card, your phone opens its own share sheet. The image goes only to the app you choose; we do not receive it.

3. Google Play Games Services

Signing in with your Google Play Games profile is optional. Google provides this service and processes:

Other players may see your Play Games name and score on leaderboards, depending on your Play Games profile visibility settings. We can see leaderboard entries and anonymous, aggregated statistics in Google Play Console. We do not receive your email address or contacts.

4. Ads

The free game shows ads from Google AdMob: a short ad between runs, and ads you choose to watch for an in-game reward. Ads in FlipLife are never personalised and are limited to content rated for teens, with sensitive categories such as gambling, dating and alcohol blocked.

To show ads, Google collects your device's advertising ID, your IP address (which gives an approximate location) and how you interact with the ads, and uses them to serve and measure ads and to prevent fraud. Anyone who has bought Endless Mode sees no ads. You can reset or delete your advertising ID in your phone's settings.

In the UK, EEA and Switzerland, the game asks for your consent before the first ad, and you can change your choice any time in Settings → Ad choices. Google's use of this data is explained at policies.google.com/technologies/ads.

5. In-app purchases

FlipLife offers one optional purchase: Endless Mode, a one-time unlock that also removes ads. Google Play Billing processes the payment. We never see your card or payment details.

The app receives a purchase confirmation from Google, including the product ID and order reference, and stores it on your device to unlock Endless Mode. Refunds follow Google Play's refund policy.

6. Friday reminder

If you switch on the Friday reminder, the game schedules a notification on your phone. Nothing about it leaves your device, and you can switch it off in Settings.

7. Information we receive from Google Play

Google Play may provide anonymous, aggregated crash, performance and install statistics through Android vitals and Play Console. These help us understand how the game is working. We do not use a separate analytics or tracking service.

8. What we don't do

9. Device permissions

FlipLife uses internet access (for ads, Google Play Games and purchases), Google Play Billing, the advertising ID, notifications (only if you switch on the Friday reminder), and vibration for haptic feedback.

It does not access your location, camera, microphone, contacts, photos or files.

10. Children and teens

FlipLife is aimed at teens and adults aged 13 and over. It is not directed at children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their personal data.

If you are under 18, ask a parent or guardian before making a purchase. Parents and guardians can contact us with any questions.

11. How long data is kept

Local game data stays on your phone until you uninstall FlipLife or clear its app data. Google keeps Play Games and advertising data under its own policies.

12. Your privacy rights

UK GDPR and EU GDPR give you rights to access, correct, delete, restrict or object to the use of personal data, receive a portable copy, and withdraw consent where it applies. You may also have rights under US state privacy laws where they apply.

Because we hold no personal data from FlipLife ourselves, most data requests will need to go to Google. Email us and we will help point you to the right place.

13. How to delete your data

14. Security

Game saves and local logs stay on your device. Keep your phone and Google Account secure. Google is responsible for the security of its Play Games, billing and advertising services. No device or service can be guaranteed completely secure.

15. Changes to this policy

We may update this policy if FlipLife changes. We will update the date at the top so you can see when it last changed.

16. Contact and complaints

For privacy questions or help, contact Sustainable Compute Network at unicredmac@gmail.com.

You can complain to the UK Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk, or to the relevant privacy authority where you live.
